Privacy Policy

Account information. If you create an account, we store the email address you sign up with so we can authenticate you and sync your saved bar across devices.

Your bar. When you sign in, the bottles and ingredients you add or snap are saved to your account so you can return to them. As a guest, this information stays on your device and is not saved to our servers.

Photos you snap. When you use the AI Snap feature, the photo you take is sent to our vision provider to identify ingredients. Photos are used to return your results and are not published or sold.

Usage analytics. We collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (such as which pages are viewed and what people search for) to understand how BarSnap is used and improve it. This is not used to identify you personally.

Profile picture. If you choose a profile picture, we store it with your account so it appears on your profile.

Crash reports.If the app crashes or hits an error, we receive a technical report (such as the device type, app version and error details) through our error-monitoring service, together with your anonymous account ID if you're signed in. These reports do not include your email address, your bar, or your photos.

You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen in the app or on the website. Deleting it permanently removes your account and the data saved to it, including your bar, saved cocktails, scan history and profile picture. If you would rather ask us to do it, email hello@barsnap.app.

If you join the BarSnap waitlist, we store the email address you enter, the date you joined, and which form on the site you used. We use it only to email you about BarSnap launching. We don't use it for other campaigns, and we don't sell or share it with advertisers. To be removed from the list, email hello@barsnap.app.

We use the information above to provide and improve BarSnap: to sign you in, save and sync your bar, return cocktail matches, and make the app better over time. We do not sell your personal information.
