The Story
The daisy is a nineteenth-century sour sweetened with a liqueur or fruit syrup, often topped with soda. The Brandy Daisy and Gin Daisy are the best known, and the Whiskey Daisy follows the same plan with bourbon and raspberry in place of the usual sweetener.
