Fiery ginger beer with sharp lime and a little sweetness. Spicy, zesty, and ice cold.

Ingredients

  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
  • Ginger Beer to top
  • Lime wedge · optional garnish
  • mint sprig · optional garnish

Method

    Add the lime juice and simple syrup to a copper mug filled with ice.

    Top with ginger beer.

    Stir gently to combine.

    Garnish with a lime wedge and a mint sprig.

The Story

The Moscow Mule is a 1940s American drink that helped popularize both vodka and the copper mug. The ginger beer and lime are the heart of it, so the virgin version is often called a Ginger Mule and loses very little.
