Ingredients

  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • Cola to top
  • Lime wedge · optional garnish

Method

    Squeeze the lime juice into a highball glass, then drop in the spent lime shell.

    Fill the glass with ice.

    Top with cola.

    Stir gently to combine.

The Story

The Cuba Libre means "free Cuba," and it is rum, cola, and lime from the early 1900s. Without the rum it is still cola with real lime, which is a much better drink than cola alone.
