Dry, bitter tonic with lime and the clean, peppery bite of blanco tequila. Crisp and refreshing.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Blanco Tequila
  • 0.25 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 4 oz Tonic Water
  • Lime wedge · optional garnish

Method

    Add the tequila and lime juice to a highball glass filled with ice.

    Top with tonic water.

    Stir gently to combine.

    Garnish with a lime wedge.

The Story

The Tequila Tonic follows the gin and tonic template and is a common simple highball in Mexico and the American Southwest. Blanco tequila's citrus and pepper notes take well to quinine.
