Strawberry Daiquiri
ClassicWhite rum, lime, and ripe strawberries blended into a frosty pink slush.
Sweet, bright, and fruity. Ripe strawberry takes centre stage while lime stops it going cloying, and white rum adds a clean, warm backbone. Frosty and spoonable, like a grown-up sorbet.

The Story
The Strawberry Daiquiri grew out of the frozen Daiquiri served in Havana, where the bartenders at El Floridita blended the classic with shaved ice. Adding fruit followed naturally, and the strawberry version spread across resort bars and home blenders in the 1970s and 1980s. It is more a family of drinks than a single recipe, but the rule is always the same: rum, lime, sugar, and fruit.
