Sweet strawberry with creamy coconut and pineapple over light rum. Fruity, rich, and frozen.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz White Rum
  • 2 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 1.5 oz Coconut Cream
  • 4 Strawberry
  • Strawberry · optional garnish

Method

    Add the rum, pineapple juice, coconut cream, strawberries, and a cup of ice to a blender.

    Blend until smooth and slushy.

    Pour into a hurricane glass.

    Garnish with a strawberry.

The Story

The Piña Colada, created in Puerto Rico in the 1950s, quickly spawned fruit variations, and strawberry became one of the most popular. It is the pink, creamy cousin of the original at beach bars worldwide.
