The Story
The Stone Fence is one of America's oldest mixed drinks, a colonial-era combination of spirit and cider that was sometimes made with rum and later with apple brandy. It has long been associated with the American Revolution, and its blunt name hints at the kick hidden inside such a simple drink. It is the easiest cocktail on the menu and a natural for autumn.
