Spiked Hot Cider

The Story
Spiked hot cider is autumn in America — orchards, bonfires, and the first cold snap. Fresh-pressed apple cider has been a fall staple since colonial days, and lacing the warm, spiced version with bourbon or rum turns a farm-stand tradition into a grown-up one. It has no single recipe, only a season: the moment the leaves turn.
