Silk Stocking

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz Blanco Tequila
• 1 oz White Crème de Cacao
• 1 oz Heavy Cream
• 0.25 oz Grenadine
• Cinnamon · optional garnish

Method

   Add the tequila, white crème de cacao, heavy cream, and grenadine to a shaker with ice.

   Shake until well-chilled.

   Strain into a chilled coupe.

   Dust with a little ground cinnamon.

The Story

The Silk Stocking is an old tequila cocktail from the dessert-drink tradition, pairing tequila with crème de cacao and cream. The grenadine gives it a pale pink color that is said to recall the stocking in its name.
