Screwdriver
ClassicIBA OfficialVodka and orange juice. The simplest of them all.
Bright, simple, and easy. Fresh orange juice does almost all the talking — sweet, tangy, and full — while vodka keeps the base clean and adds a warm lift without changing the flavor. Refreshing and unfussy, it lives or dies on the quality of the juice.

The Story
The Screwdriver is about as simple as a cocktail gets, and its origin story is fittingly no-frills: American oil workers in the Persian Gulf are said to have spiked their orange juice with vodka and stirred it with the tool on hand — a screwdriver. It rose with vodka's mid-century American boom and never left, precisely because it asks nothing of you but a bottle and a carton. Use fresh-squeezed juice and it's genuinely good.
