Queen's Park Swizzle
ClassicRum, lime, and mint swizzled over crushed ice, finished with bitters.
Cool, minty, and deeply refreshing. Lime and mint give a Mojito-like brightness, demerara adds a toffee-like depth, and the cap of bitters lends spice and a red-brown colour. A beautiful hot-weather long drink.

The Story
The Queen's Park Swizzle is a Trinidadian classic from the Queen's Park Hotel in Port of Spain, created in the early 20th century. It is the best known of the swizzle family: drinks spun with a stick or spoon over crushed ice until frosty. It reads like a Mojito with a heavier hand on the rum, demerara, and bitters.
