Bittersweet and bubbly. Campari's bitter orange and sweet vermouth's spice are lifted and lengthened by dry Prosecco, making the Negroni brighter, softer, and lower in proof.

- Prosecco to top
- Orange half-wheel · optional garnish
Method
- 1
Build the Campari and sweet vermouth over ice in a rocks glass.

Stir gently and garnish with an orange half-wheel.
The Story
Born of a happy accident at Bar Basso in Milan in the early 1970s, when bartender Mirko Stocchetto reached for sparkling wine instead of gin. "Sbagliato" means "mistaken" — and the mistake made a lighter, effervescent Negroni that a viral moment turned into a global order decades later.
