Lynchburg Lemonade
ClassicTennessee whiskey, triple sec, lemon, and lemon-lime soda. A tall, sunny whiskey cooler.

The Story
The Lynchburg Lemonade is a 1980s creation, usually credited to a bartender in Huntsville, Alabama, and named for Lynchburg, Tennessee — the town where Tennessee whiskey is made. It spread through the country on the back of that name and a simple formula: whiskey and orange liqueur, lengthened with lemon and soda. It is the whiskey drinker's lemonade, and a fixture of casual bars to this day.
