Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.75 oz Simple Syrup
  • Soda Water to top
  • Lime wedge · optional garnish

Method

    Add the lime juice and simple syrup to a highball glass filled with ice.

    Top with soda water.

    Stir gently to combine.

    Garnish with a lime wedge.

The Story

The Rickey began in Washington, D.C., in the 1880s as a bourbon drink, and it soon lost its spirit and became the lime-and-soda staple of American soda fountains. Everything about it is lime, sugar, and fizz.
