Spicy ginger and tart lime over rich, molasses-edged rum. Fizzy, warming, and refreshing.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Dark Rum
  • 0.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 4 oz Ginger Beer
  • Lime wedge · optional garnish

Method

    Add the rum and lime juice to a highball glass filled with ice.

    Top with ginger beer.

    Stir gently to combine.

    Garnish with a lime wedge.

The Story

The Jamaica Mule is the Moscow Mule's rum cousin, swapping vodka for Jamaican-style dark rum. It is a close relative of the Dark 'n' Stormy and a simple way to put ginger beer to work.
