Irish Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

• 1 oz Irish Whiskey
• 1 oz Irish Cream
• 5 oz Hot Chocolate
• Grated chocolate · optional garnish

Method

   Warm the glass by filling it with hot water, then discard.

   Heat the hot chocolate until steaming.

   Add the Irish whiskey and Irish cream to the warmed glass.

   Pour in the hot chocolate and stir gently.

   Garnish with grated chocolate.

The Story

Irish whiskey and Irish cream have long been paired with coffee, and hot chocolate takes to them just as well. The result is a richer, cozier cousin of the Irish coffee that works well after dinner.
