Halekulani
ClassicA gin sour gone tropical, named for a Waikiki landmark.
Bright and easygoing. Gin's botanicals sit under a wash of orange and lemon, grenadine adds a gentle berry sweetness and a rosy hue, and a dash of bitters keeps it from turning candied. Fruity, balanced, and endlessly sippable.

The Story
The Halekulani is the house cocktail of the Halekulani hotel in Waikiki, home to the storied House Without a Key bar looking out over Diamond Head. Unlike the rum-soaked drinks around it in the tiki canon, the Halekulani is gin-based — a tropical riff on the sour, with orange and grenadine giving it a sunset color to match the view. It's a reminder that tiki was as much a mood as a formula.
