Gin Gin Mule
ClassicAudrey Saunders' bridge between the Moscow Mule and the mojito.
Spicy and herbaceous, with ginger's heat meeting bright lime and cool mint. Gin's botanicals thread through the middle, and a touch of simple syrup rounds the edges — lively, aromatic, and more complex than its easy-drinking nature lets on.

The Story
Audrey Saunders created the Gin Gin Mule at New York's Pegu Club in the mid-2000s, and it became one of the defining drinks of the modern craft-cocktail revival. She fused the ginger bite of a Moscow Mule with the mint and lime of a mojito, then swapped in gin as the backbone. Homemade ginger beer was her signature — the drink helped launch a thousand house ginger syrups.
