Ingredients

  • 2 oz Cynar
  • 3 oz Prosecco
  • 1 oz Soda Water
  • Orange peel · optional garnish

Method

    Fill a wine glass with ice.

    Add the Prosecco and Cynar.

    Top with the soda water and stir gently.

    Express an orange peel over the drink and drop it in.

The Story

Cynar is an Italian bitter liqueur flavored with artichoke and herbs, and it has long been served long with soda or tonic. Swapping it into a spritz gives a darker, earthier aperitivo.
