Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Vodka
- 2 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1 oz Coconut Cream
- Pineapple wedge · optional garnish
- a cherry · optional garnish
Method

Add the vodka, pineapple juice, and coconut cream to a blender with a scoop of crushed ice.

Blend until smooth and slushy.

Pour into a hurricane glass.

Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a cherry.
The Story
The Chi-Chi is the Piña Colada's vodka twin — same pineapple and coconut cream, but with a neutral base that lets the tropical flavors ride out front. It rose alongside the blender-drink boom of the 1970s and 80s, when frozen and creamy was the whole point.
