The Story
The Champs-Élysées is a Sidecar-style sour that appears in vintage bartending guides from the 1920s and 1930s, named for the famous Paris avenue. It replaces the orange liqueur of a Sidecar with green Chartreuse, a swap that turns a familiar cognac sour into something herbal and mysterious. It has enjoyed a revival in modern craft bars.
