Bitter orange, rhubarb, and herbs, lengthened and lightened by bubbles. Crisp, dry, and refreshingly bitter.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Campari
  • Soda Water to top
  • Orange slice · optional garnish

Method

    Fill a highball glass with ice.

    Add the Campari.

    Top with soda water and stir gently.

    Garnish with an orange slice.

The Story

Campari Soda was launched in 1932 as the world's first single-serve bottled aperitif, with a distinctive cone-shaped bottle designed by the Futurist artist Fortunato Depero. At the bar it is nothing more than Campari lengthened with soda, and it remains the cleanest way to taste the liqueur's bitter orange character.
