Cameron's Kick
ClassicScotch, Irish whiskey, lemon, and orgeat. A two-whiskey classic from the 1920s.
Nutty, smooth, and softly tart. Scotch adds malt and a whisper of smoke while Irish whiskey brings honeyed grain, and orgeat lends a marzipan sweetness that lemon pulls back into balance. Round and elegant rather than boozy.

The Story
Cameron's Kick is a 1920s drink that appears in classic bartending guides of the era, including The Savoy Cocktail Book (1930). Its oddity is the base — Scotch and Irish whiskey in equal measure, two spirits that rarely share a glass — softened by lemon and orgeat, an almond syrup. The result is a drink that tastes unexpectedly gentle for a whiskey cocktail.
