Ingredients
- 2 oz Gin
- 0.5 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 0.5 oz Dry Vermouth
- 1 oz Orange Juice
- Orange twist · optional garnish
Method

Add the gin, both vermouths, and orange juice to a shaker with ice.

Shake until well-chilled.

Double-strain into a chilled coupe.

Express an orange twist over the surface and drop it in.
The Story
Created around 1900 at New York's Waldorf-Astoria by bartender Johnnie Solon and named for the Bronx Zoo. In the decades before Prohibition it ranked among the most popular cocktails in the world, mentioned in the same breath as the Martini and Manhattan.
