Bicicletta
ClassicCampari and white wine over soda. An Italian afternoon in a glass.
Bitter and bright, with Campari's bitter-orange bite lightened by crisp white wine and lifted by soda's fizz. Lower in proof than its aperitivo cousins, it stays refreshing and dry — bracing rather than sweet.

- 1 oz Soda Water
- Orange slice · optional garnish
Method
- 1
Fill a wine glass with ice.

The Story
The Bicicletta — Italian for "bicycle" — takes its name from the wobbling elderly gentlemen said to pedal home from the café after a few too many. A staple of northern Italian aperitivo hour, it stretches Campari with dry white wine and a splash of soda into something lower and longer than a Negroni or an Americano. It is the essence of unhurried afternoon drinking.
