The Story
Part of the "equal-thirds" sour family that also gives us the White Lady and the Sidecar — spirit, orange liqueur, and citrus in balance. Swap the gin or brandy for vodka and you get the Balalaika, named for the Russian stringed instrument, a mid-century nod to vodka's Eastern European roots.
