Bahama Mama
ClassicTwo rums, pineapple, and a splash of the tropics.
Sweet and juicy, with pineapple and orange leading a wave of tropical fruit. Two rums keep it from being a mocktail, lime cuts the sweetness, and grenadine adds a berry-red finish — easy, breezy, and unapologetically fun.

The Story
The Bahama Mama is a Caribbean beach-bar staple, a fruit-forward rum cooler that spread through the islands and cruise-ship circuit in the latter half of the twentieth century. Unlike the coded Beachcomber recipes, it never had a single author — it is the sun-soaked, crowd-pleasing face of tiki. Grenadine gives it the sunset gradient that made it a photograph before it was a drink.
