Arnold Palmer
ClassicIced tea and lemonade. The golfer's own half-and-half, invented by accident.
Balanced between tannic, slightly bitter black tea and sweet-tart lemonade — neither half dominates, which is exactly the point. Refreshing rather than sweet.

The Story
Golfer Arnold Palmer had a standing habit of mixing his own iced tea and lemonade at the clubhouse; the story goes that a woman near him once overheard him order it and asked the waitress for "that Palmer drink" instead of naming the two parts, and the name simply followed him home. Palmer's own company later bottled and trademarked it, but the drink itself needs nothing but a pitcher of each and a glass of ice — it remains one of the only mocktails named after the person who actually drank it, not a fictional or celebrity stand-in.
