The Story
The Absinthe Frappé is a New Orleans institution, credited to the Old Absinthe House in the French Quarter in the nineteenth century. Absinthe, sugar, and a heap of crushed ice make a drink that is part cocktail, part snow cone, and built for the Louisiana heat.
